Moyano will take on the role of Diego Martínez Domé, who has resigned before the governor of Entre Ríos.
Argentina.- The Institute of Financial Assistance for Social Action of Entre Ríos (IAFAS) introduced its new president yesterday, Thursday, September 12. It is Carlos A. Moyano, who has been serving as the general manager of the regulatory body for gambling in Entre Ríos since 2021.
The renewal of authorities is a decision by the governor of Entre Ríos, Rogelio Frigerio, following the resignation of Diego Martínez Domé, who had been president since December 2023.
Thus, the Board is now composed of Moyano and Marcelo Monfort, who will rely on a general management led by Santiago Schunk.
As stated by the institute, this new structuring of the authorities "will continue working towards the main institutional objective of generating and optimizing institutional resources, through efficient processes, in order to contribute to the social development of the province; and upholding the institutional values of transparency, innovation, responsibility, commitment, trust, security, integration, and strength."

The IAFAS launched in August the campaign #losmenoresNOapuestan to emphasize the illegality of gambling in minors.
Furthermore, representatives of the IAFAS held meetings with the block of senators from Juntos por Entre Ríos to discuss the bill that seeks to implement a preventive campaign aimed at children and adolescents about the risks of online gambling.
