St8.io has received a recognition notice from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). This approval allows St8.io to operate within the regulatory framework of the MGA, thereby expanding its global influence.
This recognition is equivalent to the standard MGA B2B license and is based on the existing license St8.io obtained from the Romanian National Office for Gambling last year.
This development marks another step forward for St8.io since its launch less than two years ago. With the MGA's recognition, the company can now offer its platform to operators in the global MGA-regulated market, enhancing its ability to support more regional partners.
St8.io CEO Vladimir Negine stated: "This will enable us to offer our platform to operators in the global MGA-regulated market while maintaining the highest level of player protection. In addition to our license obtained in Romania, we are now able to support more market partners. Our plan is to continue to expand our licensing scope in 2024 and beyond."
In February 2024, St8.io will collaborate with Betby to provide a single API integration for casino and sports betting content. This partnership allows St8.io's operator partners to access Betby's sports betting through the same API used for casino content, reducing the need for additional integration work. This collaboration covers 125 sports and over 3,000 betting markets with more than 210,000 events per month.
