Mexico.- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has called on the public to participate in the Special Grand Draw 291 of the National Lottery, which will take place on the upcoming September 15. This draw will offer cash and in-kind prizes exceeding MX$252m (USD 14,400,000). The prizes include MX$40m (USD 2,285,714) in houses, watches, jewelry, and refunds. Each ticket, known as a "cachito," costs MX$250.

In his statements, President López Obrador highlighted that this will be the last draw during his term and emphasized that all prizes will be awarded. "The novelty of this draw is that all prizes will be awarded. If not all tickets are sold, nothing will remain undistributed. Everything that is won comes from the Institute to Return the Stolen to the People, including legal houses and jewelry, with the goal of continuing to support the people," he highlighted in the media.

It was determined by the approval of Decree No. 177/2024 of the Universal Accessibility Regulation.

Spain.- This Tuesday, the approval of Decree No. 177/2024 of the Regional Government of Murcia was published, which requires that gaming establishments must, exclusively, have bathrooms for disabled people.

This decree is part of the Universal Accessibility Regulation that introduces measures related to accessibility for disabled people in different public spaces, including those linked to gambling activities.

In turn, Article 22 requires that casinos, bingo halls, betting shops, and recreational machine centers have at least one accessible bathroom for the public. This bathroom can be used by people of both sexes and must comply with current accessibility standards.

The annual report on the development of gaming in the Region of Murcia indicates that only 4 of the 2,237 inspections are related to access by minors or self-excluded individuals. The Union of Gaming Hall Workers (UTSAJU) highlights that the figures are an indicator of the professionalism of the workers in the halls and their commitment to responsible gaming.
