The Philippine Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against the dismissed president of the Danlugan Province Banban Society, Alice Guo, for human trafficking at the Bashi Court.

Deputy Minister of Justice, Nicholas Ty, confirmed this news on September 18.

Deputy Minister Ty stated that a lottery process is currently underway to decide which division of the Bashi Court will handle the case.

In addition to Alice Guo, other defendants in the case include the former director of the Technology and Livelihood Resource Center, Dennis Cunanan, and 12 other executives from Zun Yuan Technology Inc.

Assistant Minister of Justice, Mico Clavano, in an interview, stated that the case was originally supposed to be handled by the Kapas City District Court in Danlugan Province, but due to an administrative notice from the Supreme Court, it has been transferred to Bashi City.

Clavano said: "All cases related to the filed lawsuit will be handled in the Bashi City District Court."

After the prosecution is filed, if the court finds reasonable grounds, an arrest warrant is expected to be issued for the dismissed president, Alice Guo.

Clavano stated: "The court will make its own judicial determination, and if reasonable grounds are found, an arrest warrant will be issued. These cases are non-bailable. Therefore, once the Bashi District Court issues an arrest warrant, we will detain Alice Guo, regardless of whether she is released from the Senate or decides to apply for bail for her case in Kapas, Danlugan Province."

This is the fourth case against Alice Guo. The first case was the application for cancellation of a birth certificate filed in the Danlugan Province District Court, the second was the application for a qualification review order filed in the Manila District Court.

The third was a corruption case against Alice Guo, originally scheduled to be handled in the Kapas Court of Danlugan Province, but was eventually transferred to the Miren Ruela Court.

On September 15, the human trafficking case in the Banban Society POGO (Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators) park was also transferred to the Bashi Court.

The dismissed president is facing multiple legal challenges and cases, including issues with her nationality and her alleged involvement in illegal activities in the Banban Society POGO park.
