Media reports on September 18th state that various Philippine government agencies will meet to discuss the upcoming nationwide ban on Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO), set for December 31st.

Department of Justice spokesperson Clavano stated, "Stakeholders should hold regular meetings regarding the ban on offshore gaming, especially when there are immigration-related issues concerning these foreign workers."

The meeting will include discussions on arrangements for these foreign employees.

Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) spokesperson Gasao said, "They must leave voluntarily, or they will be immediately deported and blacklisted."

Although the executive order containing the provisions for the ban on offshore gaming has not yet been issued, relevant agencies are monitoring those offshore gaming companies that are allegedly relocating from one place to another.

Gasao added, "Law enforcers are tracking them. Once they are found, they will be deported."
