Argentina.- Within the framework of the program "Dialogando BA", the Lottery of the City of Buenos Aires (LOTBA) participated in a workshop at the Celeste y Blanco Retirees Center of the municipality of Berazategui, in the province of Buenos Aires, where the issue of gambling in minors was addressed.
The event was organized by the General Directorate of Relations with Provinces and Municipalities of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires (GCBA), led by Yanina Agostinelli, and featured the presence of Ezequiel Domínguez, director of LOTBA, Patricio Scarzella, chief of staff of the Ministry of Human Development and Habitat of the GCBA, María Sotolano, national deputy, and Sandra Massimino, councilor of Berazategui.
During the meeting, the work being done in the City on the issue of illegal gambling, controls on legal gambling, and awareness and prevention actions regarding betting in minors were detailed. Additionally, during the meeting, exchange tables were organized where experiences were shared and solutions proposed.
"Promoting these spaces for dialogue with the community reinforces the commitment to prevention and awareness of the most vulnerable sectors where information is essential," conveyed by LOTBA.

Furthermore, LOTBA received sports ambassadors for training on problematic consumption and prevention of betting in minors. Among the ambassadors was Marcelo Bosch, general director of the General Directorate of Elite Sport and High Performance of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.
The talk was led by Licenciada Cecilia García, a psychiatrist, psychologist, forensic expert, and advisor on Responsible Gaming at the Lottery of the City of Buenos Aires.
LOTBA reported that during the meeting, tools for early detection and prevention were provided, the risks associated with betting on illegal sites were detailed, and the channels for guidance on problematic gambling and complaints about illegal gambling were informed.
The Government of the City of Buenos Aires, together with LOTBA, launched a new campaign called "Talking is Winning," which aims to raise awareness about the use of technology and the risks of betting in minors.
