This Monday (23), associations related to retail, commerce, and industry will participate in a meeting with the Vice President, Geraldo Alckmin, to discuss sports betting platforms and online games. The meeting will take place at 12:30 PM, at the BNDES headquarters in São Paulo.
Last Thursday, the 19th, during the Latam Retail Show event organized by Gouvêa Ecosystem consultancy, these same entities released a manifesto in which they committed to act for the regulation of advertising and sponsorships of the so-called bets.
They also aim to immediately prevent the use of credit cards for payment of bets, which would only occur in 2025 by the approved legislation.
This will be the second meeting with Alckmin this month on the same topic. The first occurred on the last 19th, in Brasília.
