"Human Bait" "Li Na"'s real passport

Significant new developments and breakthroughs in the kidnapping and murder case of Sun Jing and Xia Kefu, senior executives of a domestic medical device company in the Philippines; the family of the deceased just received news from the Philippine police that on May 14 this year, at the annual conference of the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (Paris Course of Revascularisation) held in Paris, France, the "human bait" "Li Na" who deceived Sun Jing and Xia Kefu into expanding the market in the Philippines the following month was arrested in Seoul, South Korea on September 22, and will be extradited back to China.

For the background of the Sun Jing and Xia Kefu kidnapping and murder case, please click on the special topic below, where many details of the case have been disclosed.

Sun Jing was confirmed to have been born in Beijing, is 45 years old, studied in the United States, and is in the medical device business, responsible for Abbott in China; Xia Kefu is confirmed to be 39 years old, from Yuanjiang City, Hunan Province, China, and is the International Marketing Director of Suzhou Runmaide Medical Technology Co., Ltd.

At around 6 pm on June 20, Sun Jing and Xia Kefu's flight arrived in the Philippines. Subsequently, their relatives claimed that the two were kidnapped, with the kidnappers initially demanding a ransom of 5 million yuan, later reduced to 3 million yuan, which was paid. However, they could no longer contact the kidnappers, and the victims' relatives immediately reported to the Chinese police. Subsequently, their relatives also reported to the police in the Philippines and the United States.

On June 24, the bodies of the two victims were found at the edge of a cliff in Sitio Rawis, Barangay Patitinan, Sagñay, Camarines Sur, in the southeastern part of Luzon Island. It was later confirmed that they were the torn Sun Jing and Xia Kefu.

The families of Sun Jing and Xia Kefu arrived in Manila on June 27. Since the victims were citizens of China and the United States, the Chinese Ministry of Public Security, the FBI, the Anti-kidnapping Group-PNP of the Philippine police, the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines, and the U.S. Embassy in Manila formed a joint investigation team to expedite the investigation of this case.

The founder of the anti-kidnapping organization Movement for Restoration of Peace and Order in the Filipino-Chinese community, Ms. Teresita Ang See, suspects that this case was perpetrated by an international criminal gang, with a modus operandi similar to a case years ago where Chinese businessmen from Cyprus were deceived into coming to the Philippines for a "contract signing" and were kidnapped. According to Ms. Ang See, at that time, two Chinese businessmen from Cyprus arrived at Manila airport, collected their luggage, and were taken directly by the kidnappers to a safe house in Cavite, southern Greater Manila, where they were held and a ransom was demanded from their families. The families of the two victims eventually paid millions of yuan in ransom through the cryptocurrency USDT and were released.

The families of the victims were very emotional after learning that the suspect "Li Na" was arrested in Seoul, South Korea, on the 22nd; a photo sent by an informant shows "Li Na" wearing a black baseball cap and a white hoodie, being controlled by several South Korean police officers.

Besides, the foreign affairs departments and police of China, the U.S., and the Philippines have not yet disclosed other information about "Li Na."

With the arrest of "Li Na" or "Chen Yuxuan," more details of this case are expected to be revealed. The downfall of this notorious transnational Chinese kidnapper gang is imminent.
