Totogaming is an operator that entered the Romanian market in January 2024, announcing a new partnership with the eight-time Romanian football champions CFR Cluj.
This collaboration will cover the 2024/25 and 2025/26 football seasons, marking Totogaming's first sports partnership in Romania.
The partnership aims to strengthen the ties between the two organizations and promote the development of Romanian football.
Totogaming has a 20-year history in Armenia, having previously sponsored five Armenian football clubs. However, this partnership with CFR Cluj is their first foray into the Romanian sports field.
Totogaming CEO Harutyun Vardanyan commented, "This partnership was expected. Supporting sports development and promoting a healthy lifestyle have been core principles of Totogaming from the start. CFR Cluj football club embodies these championship values. This club, with a history of 100 years, knows what it takes to be a champion."
CFR Cluj, with a long history in Romanian football, is expected to benefit from Totogaming's support during the two-year agreement. This partnership aims to enhance the team's capabilities and create a more attractive and inspiring environment for Romanian football fans.
In March 2024, Totogaming partnered with game developer Wazdan to expand its online casino offerings in Romania, adding 12 Wazdan slot games to its platform. This collaboration helps to enhance Totogaming's influence in the region and plans to launch more games in the coming months.
