OpenBet has entered into a long-term agreement with one of Brazil's largest media and retail groups, Grupo Silvio Santos (GSS).
Through this deal, OpenBet will launch a new sports betting and gaming brand for GSS's subsidiary, Todos Querem Jogar (TQJ).
The partnership will leverage OpenBet's end-to-end betting ecosystem to support the TQJ platform. This includes OpenBet's betting engine, player account management system, and managed trading services.
The implementation will also utilize responsible gaming technology and the geolocation product OpenBet Locator to ensure compliance with Brazilian regulations.
GSS is known for its media influence, reaching over 113 million Brazilians monthly, and aims to leverage its entertainment experience to enter the Brazilian betting market.
The new platform will offer sports betting and iGaming experiences, including the BetBuilder feature for personalized betting and OpenBet's managed trading services for risk management and guidance.
GSS Chief Information Officer Leonardo Sampaio commented on the development, saying: "We are thrilled to partner with OpenBet. For TQJ, it is crucial to offer an outstanding betting experience based on robust compliance procedures.
"OpenBet's end-to-end ecosystem and overall company values give us peace of mind, knowing we are working with the best company to enter the regulated sports betting and gaming market."
OpenBet CEO Jordan Levin added: "Grupo Silvio Santos is an iconic group in the Brazilian entertainment industry, and we are honored to be chosen to support its sports betting and gaming brand.
"Given the long history between OpenBet and GSS, we have the capability to deliver an engaging and responsible betting experience that will make waves in Brazil's regulated market."
