According to Cambodian media, police led a raid on a lottery site along Highway 3 in the Sangyuan area of Phnom Penh, arresting three people.
The police reported that the public had complained about a stall in the market engaging in Vietnamese lottery activities, prompting law enforcement officers to conduct the raid, where they confirmed the presence of lottery betting activities and arrested three suspects.
The police revealed that the three suspects are a 55-year-old female business owner, a 32-year-old female employee, and a 45-year-old female employee. Law enforcement officers seized a lottery printer, a computer, three mobile phones, and other physical evidence at the scene.
The suspects and the physical evidence have now been handed over to the Sangyuan District Police Station, awaiting further legal proceedings.
