The Social and Financial Box of San Luis will request a report on the progress of the blockages.
Argentina.- The Social and Financial Box of San Luis announced that it plans to call internet providers to provide a report on the progress of the blockages to illegal online betting pages ordered by the Justice through a precautionary measure.
The director of the agency, Héctor Mazzina, informed the local media El Chorrillero that by the weekend they will have a broader overview of how they implement the resolution.
As he pointed out, so far three providers have communicated that they complied with the measure and took precautions. One of them is the Agency of Science and Technology that provides service to public buildings such as schools, hospitals, police stations and implements San Luis a Mil, among others.
In statements to the media, Mazzina detailed: "We are making sure that they receive the judicial mandate. The Agency is the largest provider in the province and the other providers asked us to resend the resolution. They are receptive to comply, at least with those we spoke to" and added that they will seek to know if the official documents were effective or not.

In total there are 42 online addresses that are not authorized by the Social and Financial Box of San Luis, an agency that plays the role of the application authority of the regulations that govern gambling. Meanwhile, there are 21 providers that must comply with the resolution issued by the Court of Guarantee No. 2 as a result of the presentation of the State Prosecutor's Office that alerted of the problem.
On the other hand, Mazzina noted that so far no website mentioned has communicated with the agency: "We have not had contact with representatives or managers of these websites. To this is added the problem that we do not know where they are located because they can be national or international."
Specifically, the total number of companies operating outside the law and were included in the complaint of the state agency rises to 42.
The presentation sponsored by the State Prosecutor, Víctor Endeiza is directed to those responsible for exploiting, managing, operating or in any way organizing, by themselves or through third parties, any modality or system of capturing gambling games without having the permission of the Social Box which is the application authority.
The complaint indicates that the role of these sites "exposes the security of the bettors, since it lacks any legal support to guarantee security and transparency to the people who participate in the activities they propose."
"The common element to the individualized sites is the absence of the corresponding authorization granted by the competent authority (Social Box). It is this circumstance, which turns the game into illegal gambling, configuring the typical aspects of the figure of article 301 bis of the Penal Code," the prosecution argued.
For the purposes of implementing the measure, official documents were requested from the providers to proceed to make the blockade effective. "Such measures are imposed as a necessary resource to prevent the act from perpetuating over time in attention to the fact that, the behavior attributed harms specifically the interests of society and the patrimony of the state administration," asserts the complaint.
