On September 23, PASA reported that a suspect named "Li Na" involved in the murder case of a Chinese enterprise executive in the Philippines was arrested. Journalists obtained "Li Na's" passport photo from an informant. Previously, it was reported that "two Chinese were invited to the Philippines for inspection and were kidnapped, with their families claiming they lost contact after paying 1.3 million and have been missing for half a year." The details of these two cases are very similar.

On September 26, Mr. Li, an informant of the "two Chinese kidnapped in the Philippines" case, revealed that "Li Na" was also involved in the kidnapping case they reported to the police at that time, and they had provided "Li Na's" passport photo to the police. It is highly likely that both cases were committed by the same gang.

In January this year, Xiao Fan's brother, who works in Europe, and a European Chinese named Lao Han were invited to the Philippines for inspection and were kidnapped. Xiao Fan paid the kidnappers over 1.3 million yuan, and since then, he has lost contact with his brother. Both the method of invitation to the Philippines and the details of the extortion are highly similar to those reported in the previous case of the murder of the Chinese enterprise executive in the Philippines.

On September 23, the family of the deceased in the murder case of the Chinese enterprise executive learned from the Philippine police that "Li Na," who lured the two victims to the Philippines to kidnap them, was arrested in Seoul, South Korea on September 22 and will be extradited back to China.

The informant also provided photos of "Li Na" at the time of arrest and her passport photo, which shows the name "Chen Yuxuan."

Since the case occurred, Mr. Li, a friend of Xiao Fan's brother, has been working with Xiao Fan to find his brother's whereabouts. Mr. Li told Red Star News reporters that they had long suspected that the two cases were committed by the same gang, and seeing "Li Na's" passport photo confirmed their suspicions.

According to the informant, "Li Na" played the role of "assistant to a wealthy Chinese businessman in the Philippines" in Xiao Fan's brother's case, and it was at her invitation that Xiao Fan's brother and Lao Han went to the Philippines.

Mr. Li stated that "Li Na" had previously met Xiao Fan's brother and Lao Han in Europe with a Chinese man who claimed to be settled in Cyprus, known as "Big Brother," and had even signed some acquisition and investment agreements. During the signing process, "Li Na" provided her own passport, which is the same one recently exposed with the name "Chen Yuxuan."

Mr. Li said that after the case occurred, they had provided the passport photo to European police, but were told that these fraudsters often hold multiple passports, and the information shown on the provided passport may not be the real identity.

After the murder case of the Chinese enterprise executive occurred, they highly suspected that both cases were committed by the same gang, but at that time they did not know that "Chen Yuxuan" was the "Li Na" in the murder case of the Chinese enterprise executive.

Mr. Li expressed that learning "Li Na" was arrested and was the same person involved in Xiao Fan's brother's case made them very emotional. "We guess she might not be a core member, but she is definitely one of the key members, and she likely knows the fate of the victims. Our demands are twofold now: one is that we hope these fraud gang members can be brought to justice. The other is that we want to know where exactly our two people are, whether alive or dead, at least to have some certainty," Mr. Li said.

After the news of Li Na's arrest was exposed, reporters contacted the Philippine police multiple times to learn about the progress. Recently, a staff member from the Public Information Office of the Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) of the Philippine National Police stated that the investigation of the case is confidential, and whether they can respond is still waiting for the captain's approval.
