According to Cambodian media, the police in Kandal province announced that on September 26, three suspects who carried out a shooting and threw a grenade at the Diamond Casino in Kandal province have been arrested.
The police stated that among the three arrested, one is Cambodian and the other two are Vietnamese. Additionally, three more Vietnamese individuals involved in the case are currently on the run!
Around 1 PM on September 26, the suspects arrived at the Diamond Casino on two motorcycles, fired seven shots, and threw a modified grenade (which did not explode) before fleeing the scene.
The incident resulted in one casino security guard being injured.
The Kandal province police mentioned that the case is related to an internal business dispute at the casino.
