The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians’ Four Winds Casinos has chosen sports betting technology provider OpenBet to supply its responsible gaming and anti-money laundering software across its U.S. resorts, according to a press release.

The technology is powered by Neccton, which is part of OpenBet’s growing tech vertical. Neccton ensures player safety with evidence-based interventions, including personalized messaging, limit setting and behavioral insights.

“Four Winds Casinos is an institution in Michigan and Indiana’s gaming landscape, whose commitment to player protection aligns with our goals and objectives,” Dr. Michael Auer, Managing Director at Neccton, said in the release. “OpenBet has continually invested in strengthening its Protect pillar and with our Neccton technology always evolving with the latest data insights, Four Winds Casinos can be sure they are at the forefront of player protection.”

OpenBet’s partnership with Four Winds further solidifies its role in supporting tribal gaming operations, with the company’s global customer base growing by more than 40 percent in the first half of 2024. The move follows OpenBet’s investment in Player Account Management provider Strive Gaming, which powers Four Winds Casinos’ online gaming services in Michigan.
