Mobile sports betting revenue fell 21.6 per cent month-on-month in Kentucky, US, in August, despite a rise in the online handle.
Revenue in the Bluegrass State in the latest reporting period hit US$11.5m, down from $14.7m in July.
That was despite a rise in handle of 17.3 per cent, from $125.4m in July to $147m in August.
Subsequent tax collections from the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission were $1.6m, down 21.6 per cent from $2.1m in July.
