The president of the Association of State Lotteries of Argentina promotes responsible gaming.
Argentina.- The president of the Provincial Institute of Games and Casinos of Mendoza (IPyC Mendoza), Ida López, visited the department of General Alvear to highlight the preventive actions that the Government of Mendoza is taking against illegal gaming sites.
López gave a talk in General Alvear aimed at raising awareness about the risks of problematic gaming on illegal platforms. "We want to provide the correct information to raise awareness and reduce risks, as today we have more than 2,000 complaints about websites operating outside the law," said the president of IPJyC.
In this context, she clarified that "the pages regulated by the institute are only those that end in .bet.ar, so platforms ending in .com.ar are not regulated and lack the necessary controls."
The official highlighted the joint work between the Provincial Institute of Games and Casinos, the General Directorate of Schools (DGE), and the Ministry of Health of the province. One of the preventive measures consists of blocking Wi-Fi networks in public spaces to prevent access to illegal sites, as well as restricting all online gaming pages in educational institutions.
