Global leader bet365 has launched its app and online operations in Peru, introducing its range of iGaming and betting options to players in the country, as it seeks to further expand its presence in the Latin American region. The company is currently awaiting approval for a Brazilian license from local authorities.
Following the official approval of the licensing by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), bet365 has successfully entered the Peruvian market. With the launch, local players will gain access to the bet365 Games platform, featuring online casino titles and slot games, including multi-layer jackpots and classic-style fruit games.
Additionally, customers in the South American market will also be able to bet on global sports events through its sports betting offer, which includes its In-Play product, coverage of more than 96 sports, and access to over one million live streams.
The bet365 platform in Peru also features responsible gaming tools to help customers gamble responsibly.
"We are very excited to launch a dedicated bet365 site in Peru, the fourth largest country in the region, known for its vibrant culture and dynamic population", commented a bet365 spokesperson.
"In addition to our unmatched experience in sports betting, our customers in Peru can now enjoy a comprehensive range of offerings, including casino games, live casino action, and poker".
With the goal of continuing to grow in the Latin American market, the operator is currently awaiting the approval of a Brazilian license from the authorities ahead of the country's imminent gambling regulation and with plans to launch in the country in January 2025.
