Stake is pleased to announce that the Ministry of Finance has officially included Stake Brazil Ltda. in the list of authorized betting operators in the country. The decision was made after a thorough analysis of Stake's application and supporting documents, allowing the brand to continue operating in the growing Brazilian iGaming market.
While the Ministry of Finance is in the process of evaluating a full license application, including Stake in the list of authorized operators will allow Stake Brazil to continue offering the best gaming and betting experience that local consumers expect.
Stake's commitment to Brazil will soon be further strengthened, with plans to open an office in São Paulo. The operator will also hire a dedicated country manager, as it has done in other key territories in Latin America, to enhance operations and recruit additional team members. This is to increase local presence in the region, while complementing Stake's global operations.
From the perspective of partnerships in Brazil, Stake has already had a fantastic relationship with Juventude, from the Serie A of the Brasileirão, during its first season with the club, which culminated in a journey to the Final of the Campeonato Gaúcho and the Quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil.
Stake's partnership with the UFC in Brazil has also strengthened over the years, while working with athletes like Alex Pereira and Alexandre Pantoja.
Stake would like to extend its gratitude to customers, partners, and Brazilian regulatory authorities for their support and cooperation during this process.
Founded in 2017, Stake is the world's leading brand in the gaming and betting category. The platform has grown to cover more than 30 billion bets per year, with now more than four percent of the total global Bitcoin transactions conducted through its casino and sports betting.
Stake boasts an extensive global sponsorship portfolio, including Canadian star Drake, Stake F1 Team, Everton Football Club, UFC, and many more.
