Stake has revealed plans to open an office in São Paolo after the gaming operator was added to Brazil’s list of authorised betting operators.
A total of 89 operators had initially been approved by the Ministry of Finance, but further regulatory approvals meant Stake was added to the list.
The company is now able to continue operating in Brazil as the launch of the regulated market on January 1 draws nearer.
As well as the office in São Paolo, the operator will also hire a dedicated country manager to bolster operations and hire additional team members in Brazil.
“Stake would like to extend its gratitude to customers, partners, and the Brazilian regulatory authorities for their support and cooperation during this process,” the company said.
