The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Committee is investigating whether the so-called "big boss" of the Polarak Social Online Gambling Park in Bangbangya Province might be one of the individuals Alice Guo (Guo Huaping), the president of Banban Society in Danzhen Province, refused to disclose during the congressional hearing.

Gilbert Cruz, the Executive Director of the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Committee, said on Friday during an interview: "We are looking into the individuals she might not want to mention because she knows they are still here (in the Philippines)."

Cruz added: "The names that Guo Huaping often mentioned during the hearing are those who are no longer here with us, they are abroad."

It is said that this big boss, Lü Dong (real name Lin Xunhan), also known as Boss Boga, Boss Apao, and Boss Bahaw, was arrested Thursday night in a residential area in Neihu.

This was the result of a joint effort by the Immigration Bureau, the Department of Justice, the Armed Forces Intelligence Bureau, and the Anti-Human Trafficking Inter-Agency Committee.

During the operation, besides three guns, Lü Dong's level 6 bulletproof luxury car was also confiscated. Level 6 bulletproof means that even rifle bullets cannot penetrate the vehicle.

Cruz said: "This means he knows he needs to protect himself or for some reasons. This is a gang war among online gambling operators, or possibly his personal debts, because why would you hire bodyguards, why would you build a bulletproof car."

Cruz stated that Lin Xunhan could be called the "King of Online Gambling" in the Philippines. He reportedly came to the Philippines in 2016 and established several online gambling companies in the Ilocos Region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and Mindanao.

He said: "He established many online gambling companies, and we are investigating his involvement."

According to Cruz, some of the online gambling companies established by Lin Xunhan are still operating.

Cruz mentioned that Lin Xunhan was one of the individuals mentioned when the task force applied for a search warrant to investigate Lucky South 99. He stated that they had been looking for Lin Xunhan for eight months.

Cruz said: "While we were looking for him, he used helicopters, which made it difficult for us to track Lü Dong."

He stated that they would inquire with the Chinese embassy whether Lin Xunhan is involved in other crimes in China.

Meanwhile, he stated that the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Committee will investigate whether the nine Filipinos arrested with Lin Xunhan will also face charges.

Cruz said: "In our previous surveillance, we indeed saw how they protected Lin Xunhan. They really protected him."

He added: "In fact, they even had motorcycle patrols, and in the videos we saw, they really patrolled around before Lü Dong went out."

The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Committee will also investigate the backgrounds of Filipinos who work as drivers and bodyguards for foreigners, especially since there is intelligence indicating that one of them is a former military or police personnel.

Cruz said: "We have information that one of his bodyguards is a former military or police personnel, we just don't know if he is from the Philippine police or the armed forces."

Cruz also confirmed the arrest of another 12 Chinese citizens, namely Qu Xingjin, Zhang Jie, Zhang Haifeng, Lin Haiping, Lin Lingxing, Wang Mingyang, Yuan Weijiang, Liu Changhuang, Cheng Hengfang, Su Zhonglin, Liu Changwu, and Lin Xunqin (all names are transliterated).
