Five companies have submitted bids for the IPJyC of Mendoza.
Argentina.- Almost four months after the launch of a new public tender to add two new licenses to the online gaming market in Mendoza, the five companies competing for these spots have finally been revealed.
The interested parties in the online betting business in Mendoza are: KLP Emprendimientos SA, Nuevo Plaza Hotel Mendoza SA, New Star Internacional SRL, CasinoSoft SA, and Slots Machines SA.
The platforms that are selected will have to pay at least 6 percent of the amount resulting from bets minus the prizes paid. In addition, they will pay gross income and, just for sitting at the provincial gaming table, they must pay a key amount of USD 15,000. In return, they will be able to operate in the province for 10 years.
In June, the Provincial Institute of Games and Casinos (IPJyC Mendoza) explained that Law 9.267 enabled the granting of seven licenses to operate in the online betting market in Mendoza: four are already operational, one is in administrative process, and the remaining two are now being tendered.
The platforms that have been operating since last year are: Betwarrior, Codere, Super7, and bplay. Rushbet transferred its license to Betano, which has not yet started operating in the province.
