The technology gaming company has extended its existing contract with Puerto Rico's Lotería Electrónica.
The two companies initially started collaborating in 2005, and under the terms of this new eight-year contract, the contract can be extended for an additional two years. The currently implemented Scientific Games Enhanced Partnership Instant Game Management Program in Puerto Rico will be upgraded.
The supplier will upgrade the existing central system to its Momentum ecosystem and introduce new Wave retailer terminals, supported by SCiQ self-service machines, PlayCentral HD, Lottery Inmotion digital advertising displays, jackpot signs, and ticket checkers.
In addition, Lotería Electrónica will launch a new mobile application, while Scientific Games will enhance Puerto Rico's SGEP program using the Momentum's SciTrak platform, which helps manage the lottery's game portfolio through data analytics and a predictive ordering system.
John Schulz, President of Global Instant Products and Americas at Scientific Games, stated: "Our team has worked diligently to propose a strategic full-portfolio solution for Lotería Electrónica, building on the solid foundation started in 2005.
"The comprehensive solution adopts our most advanced technology and services, supported by an excellent team, to drive the next growth and long-term sustainability of the lottery."
Recent news from the company includes Scientific Games announcing a modernization upgrade for the terminals of Germany's Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz, as well as a partnership with Jelly Entertainment to distribute Jelly's game portfolio through Scientific Games' content platform.
