Novibet, a sports betting company, announced on Monday (14) a new three-year partnership with the NBA (National Basketball Association). With this agreement, the bet became the first official partner in this segment of the North American basketball league in Greece.
Novibet managed to secure an unprecedented partnership with the NBA this week, being the first agreement of its kind closed by the world's largest basketball league.
Greece is the country of origin of Giannis Antetokounmpo. Considered one of the best players today, the Milwaukee Bucks forward has been named MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the season twice. He also won the title with the Bucks in 2021.
The NBA and Novibet have committed to promote betting responsibly and to collaborate to protect the integrity of the games. The goal of the partnership, according to both parties, is to offer basketball fans an enhanced experience.
Among the benefits are access to official league merchandise and the opportunity to watch live games in the United States. Novibet will also be the presenting partner of the Greek version of NBA Pick’Em: Bracket Challenge, a type of fantasy game created by the North American basketball league.
Novibet in Brazil
Novibet is licensed to operate in Brazil. It is the current master sponsor of Fortaleza. The company also sponsored the 2024 Paulista Championship – where Palmeiras was the champion.
