The Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administrations, Justice, and Security of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Deputy Ministry of Administrations and Transparency, announced that it is working on the new planning of games and betting in the Canary Islands after the regulation that governs it became obsolete.
According to the deputy minister, Antonio Llorens, “the Decree 299/2003, of December 22, no longer reflects the reality of the sector, so by virtue of the powers held by the Government of the Canary Islands we have begun to process a new regulation with the aim of proceeding to its approval during the next year”.
