FanDuel has reached a broadcasting agreement with the European Basketball League for the 2024-25 season.
As part of this new partnership, one game of each round of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season will be exclusively broadcast in the United States via FanDuel TV Extra and FanDuel TV+ (FanDuel's free OTT platform).
This collaboration will enable American viewers to watch European basketball games for free—ultimately expanding the global influence of the European Basketball League.
The agreement aims to increase the visibility of the European Basketball League, allowing American basketball fans to watch games featuring European clubs and emerging basketball stars.
Alex Ferrer Kristjansson, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of the European Basketball League, commented on the agreement, saying: "This agreement with FanDuel is an important step in expanding our influence beyond the pan-European ecosystem.
"By expanding the broadcasting scope of the European Basketball League to American audiences, we are opening exciting opportunities to expand our fan base and connect with basketball enthusiasts globally."
Mike Raffensperger, President of FanDuel Sports, added: "We have been looking to expand FanDuel TV's robust sports broadcasting service, and the European league has proven to be a highly attractive market among FanDuel users.
"Our agreement will bring more visibility to Europe's top basketball leagues and bring more engaging viewing and betting programs to FanDuel TV."
Under this agreement, American fans can watch one game of all 34 rounds of the European Basketball League regular season on FanDuel TV Extra and FanDuel TV+. The platform is available through streaming services like Roku, Pluto TV, and The Roku Channel, or directly via FanDuel's website and app.
