Igaming compliance firm BetComply and AgeChecked brand GlobalCheck have joined forces with IDVerse.
Both companies will leverage IDVerse’s identity verification services.
These include IDVerse’s global document coverage and synthetic media deepfake detection.
The solutions aim to protect BetComply and GlobalCheck’s customers from deepfakes and artificial intelligence-generated synthetic documents.
BetComply CEO Daniel Brookes said the partnership will allow the firm to “offer our clients an unparalleled level of protection against fraud while ensuring a seamless user experience."
“This partnership aligns perfectly with our commitment to innovation and responsible gaming practices," Brookes added.
GlobalCheck CEO Alastair Graham said: “This collaboration will enable us to better serve the evolving needs of the igaming industry, particularly in light of the new UK affordability regulations.”
Mark Knighton, global head of igaming, IDVerse said: “IDVerse has seen an increase in deepfake fraud of 30x in the last two years, with 25 per cent of fraudulent attempts now featuring synthetic imagery.
"The only way to enable operators and platforms in the igaming industry to combat these trends is to use the latest in identity infrastructure that IDVerse offers.”
