The Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has received authorization and registration (homologation) to operate in Peru, officially allowing the company to partner with operators in the newly regulated Latin American country's market. GiG continues to expand its presence, now in over 29 legalized jurisdictions around the world, using revolutionary iGaming technology.

The accreditation process, which opened its doors earlier this year, marks an early entry for GiG that will enable it to serve a market expected to grow by up to 104%, from €194 million to €397 million, in gross gaming revenue (GGR) over the next three years, according to H2 Gambling Data.

This new authorization from the Peruvian authority, granted to GiG by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru (Mincetur), covers its award-winning PAM, while GiG continues a long-standing commitment to expanding the regulated market, reaffirming its position as a global leader in growth in highly regulated jurisdictions.

GiG's presence in Peru was highlighted with the announcement of the launch of the Betsson Group's Inkabet brand in July, expanding the successful partnership between the two in regulated markets around the world.

GiG continues to expand its global presence, particularly throughout Latin America, with its innovative, powerful, secure, and scalable iGaming platform, offering operators significant opportunities for exponential revenue growth, with a set of dynamic localization features.

Peruvian operators will benefit from GiG's integration with leading content and payment providers, with advanced AI tools, DataX and LogicX, enhancing decision-making processes and rule-building. This balance of cutting-edge tools and top-tier features has proven highly effective in increasing player acquisition and retention, highlighting GiG's competitive advantage in complex regulatory environments like Peru.

Claudio Caruana, General Counsel of GiG, says: “The addition of the Peruvian authorization to our ever-growing list of supported regulated markets continues to demonstrate the focus we at GiG place on legislation, providing the essential framework for sustainable and prosperous growth within the online gambling industry. We are very pleased to be fully prepared to empower new and potential partners with our award-winning technology in the area”.
