A Chinese national in Cabuyao City, Laguna Province was shot by a fellow Chinese and left bleeding on the street.
The Cabuyao City police stated that the victim, from Mandaluyong, was shot in the thigh and was bleeding profusely; the suspect allegedly pretended to be interested in buying his luxury car before shooting him. The police suspect that the perpetrator is not a local.
Surveillance footage showed a car tailing the victim's SUV, after which the victim was stopped and shot.
Meanwhile, the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) suspects that the motive behind the shooting may not be a simple car transaction, as there is a POGO center nearby, and the incident may be related to POGO.
The victim is currently receiving treatment in the hospital, and authorities are continuing their pursuit of the suspect.
