Brazil.- The Ministry of Finance updated the list of authorized betting houses allowed to continue operating in Brazil until December. Currently, 223 brands, belonging to 100 companies, are operating in the Brazilian market. Previously, there were just over 200 brands. Another 26 sites received approval from local governments to operate at the state level.
The new addition was the incorporation of Sportvip Group International Apostas Ltda, which operates the brands Esportevip.com, cbesportes.com, and dosdabola.io.
Additionally, among the newly authorized platforms is Esportes da Sorte, sponsor of Corinthians. According to the ministry's document, Esportes Gaming Brasil LTDA was included in the list "by judicial order" and is authorized to operate the Esporte da Sorte and Onabet bets. The company Megapix Comunicação e Tecnologia Ltda, which was also included following a legal action, is also authorized to operate the megapix.bet brands.
The companies on the national list submitted an authorization request to continue operating, a process that concluded on September 17. The first list published by the Ministry of Finance, at the beginning of this month, included 89 companies, owning 193 brands. Subsequently, other companies were included. Those that did not obtain government permission are prohibited from operating in the country.
