Okto collaborates with Interwetten to launch its cash-to-digital payment solution Okto.Cash in Germany.

The service allows users to fund their iGaming accounts using cash, which can be deposited at over 14,000 retail points, including chains such as Avia, Esso, Lotto, OMV, Q1, Shell, Tamoil, and Westfalen.

The Okto.Cash solution offers Interwetten customers additional payment options, enabling them to securely and conveniently convert cash into digital funds.

This move aligns with the current trends in the German iGaming market, where cash remains a preferred method for many users.

Interwetten's Payment Operations Manager, René Hartl, stated: "With Okto.Cash, our players can easily deposit cash into their Interwetten accounts from familiar locations, bringing them unprecedented convenience and flexibility."

Notably, following its launch in Germany, the Okto.Cash solution is expected to expand to other European markets, with plans already underway.

Mikhail Ovsepyan, head of Okto in Germany, added: "This collaboration highlights our commitment to expanding in this region and others, while providing cutting-edge payment solutions that meet the needs of iGaming fans."

Earlier in 2024, Okto partnered with Sazka to introduce Okto.Cash in the Czech Republic, allowing customers to top up their accounts at over 6,700 sales points.

Okto has also partnered with Bet-at-home to strengthen its position in the German market.
