The festivals will be organized alongside the Córdoba Sports Agency.
Argentina.- From the Córdoba Lottery and the Córdoba Sports Agency, it was announced that soon there will be four boxing festivals held at different locations across the province. This Monday, October 21, the Agency and the Lottery signed a contract with the producer Arano Box and the municipal government of Río Cuarto, for the organization of the first festival.
The first event will take place in the city of Río Cuarto as part of its anniversary, on the upcoming November 16, at the gym of the Asociación Atlética Banda Norte. That night, Adrián Sasso will seek his first Argentine title and will defend the South American title. Additionally, there will be five other fights featuring local professional boxers.
After the signing of the agreement, the president of the Córdoba Sports Agency, Agustín Calleri, stated: “We are signing at the Civic Center, an agreement with the producer Arano Box, Córdoba Lottery and the Córdoba Sports Agency, to host an evening that will start in Río Cuarto. From the Agency, we support this discipline which is very important socially, and has grown a lot here, where we have two champions like Carla Merino and Adrián Sasso”.
In turn, the president of the Córdoba Lottery, David Urreta, maintained: “Boxing is a special sport in Río Cuarto, therefore, we want it to be in the Alternate Capital where this series of events begins. The Lottery is an important player in developing these sports programs, because they generate entertainment and contribute to the development of a thriving local economy”.

For his part, the municipal mayor, Guillermo De Rivas, expressed: “As Agustín mentioned, we have set this fight for November 16, undoubtedly, it will be an important event for Río Cuarto, in the context of its anniversary and also for the country. We seek to place our city at the center of the scene and we highlight these types of events because they move the economy”.
Finally, the boxing promoter, Mario Arano, provided details of the fight: “The fight is confirmed for November 16, with the presence of Adrián Sasso, who will seek the Argentine title for the first time and the South American title. The opponent is not yet confirmed, we are working on that. In addition, there will be five more fights among local professional boxers. The broadcast will be simultaneous on TNT Sport and Combat Space, from 11 PM to 1 AM”.
