ACR Poker successfully concluded its third annual charity championship series to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, raising $20,000 for the United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF).
The online event was held on October 16, gathering poker players and ACR professionals to raise funds for individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
The fundraising event included two tournaments: one with a buy-in of $55 and a guarantee of $15,000, attracting 299 participants and reaching a prize pool of $14,950; the other with a buy-in of $16.50 and a guarantee of $5,000, attracting 339 participants and reaching a prize pool of $5,085.
ACR professionals Katie Lindsay and Ebony Kenney, along with ACR team online member Svitlana 'Svetarik' Dryha, hosted the event and live-streamed the competition.
Their broadcast allowed viewers to witness the gameplay while raising awareness about the importance of support for breast cancer.
During the live stream, promotional giveaways were held, and 30 viewers won tickets worth $66 to the ACR Poker $1 Million GTD Venom Warmup.
UBCF Executive Director Stephanie Mastroianni commented on the event, saying: "We are very grateful for the generous donations from ACR Poker and its players, which will help support individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
"These funds will be allocated to our most popular program—the individual grant program, which provides customized support and assists with expenses ranging from medical bills and procedures to housing costs and insurance fees."
ACR Pro Katie Lindsay added: "I am thrilled to once again raise funds for such a remarkable foundation.
"UBCF provides a vast amount of support and treatment opportunities for those battling cancer, and I am very grateful to everyone for raising funds for such an important cause."
