This morning at 8:30, an Indonesian employee of an online betting company was found dead in his rental house in Sihanoukville. According to local media, the deceased was named Albert Wijaya, 32 years old, and was responsible for online gambling operations at the Dewa Casino in Sihanoukville.
It is reported that the deceased's roommate returned from the clinic around 2:30 AM and found the door tightly closed with no response to her knocks and no sounds from inside.
Initially thinking that Albert was sleeping, she went downstairs to spend the night in room 102 with her niece.
At 8 AM, she went upstairs again to knock on the door, still receiving no response. She then called the landlord to open the door, only to find Albert lying on the bed with no signs of life.
The body of the deceased has now been sent to the morgue at the Sihanoukville Provincial Hospital, awaiting forensic examination. Notably, last Saturday (19th), another Indonesian man also suddenly died while cleaning.
