The FES Project is a national campaign for the prevention of behavioral addictions in adolescents, driven by the Platform for Sustainable Gaming.
Spain.- The Platform for Sustainable Gaming, with the support of the Spanish Confederation of Educational Centers Aragon (CECE Aragón), presented this week the FES Project in Aragon.
The presentation of the campaign for the prevention of behavioral addictions in adolescents took place at the Sagrada Familia School (SAFA) in Zaragoza. This event marks the beginning of a comprehensive prevention campaign aimed at both young people and their families, reinforcing the commitment to training, education, and awareness on this issue.
The day began with statements from regional institutional and business leaders and from Pedro García Aguado, ambassador of the FES Project, known for his work as a speaker and Olympic medalist.
When speaking, Aguado emphasized the importance of providing tools that allow young people to make informed decisions about technology use, protecting themselves from the risks associated with digital addictions, video games, and social networks.

Participants at the opening event included the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the Government of Aragon, Tomasa Hernández; the Director General of Interior and Emergencies of the regional government, Miguel Ángel Clavero; the Director General of Family, Childhood and Birthrate, Eva Fortea; the Director of the Area of Companies and Organizations of CEOE Aragon, Javier Val; and the Vice President of CEPYME Zaragoza, Cristina Luque.
In her speech, Cristina García, spokesperson for the Platform for Sustainable Gaming, explained the details of the FES Project and its implementation in educational centers. She noted that the program "offers effective prevention tools based on scientific evidence and adapted to the school and family environment." Additionally, she announced that the talks will be streamed for the educational community of the Sagrada Familia School and CECE Aragón, facilitating their dissemination.
The FES Project is supported by several Aragonese associations, such as AEJU, AESA, and AZEMAR, which have shown their support for the initiative. The participation of representatives from CEOE and CEPYME in today's event reinforces the commitment of the Aragonese business community to Corporate Social Responsibility and Responsible Gaming.
