The general director of Lottopar, Daniel Romanowski, highlighted the importance of these blockages as a way to ensure a safe market for bettors. “First of all, it must be remembered that betting sites are entertainment, not a way to get rich or recover losses. With the regulated market, the bettor has all the support of customer service, ombudsman channels, certificates that attest to the security of the operations and, most importantly, in addition to having fun, part of the resources remain in the State for investments in public safety, affordable housing, and social projects.”
