According to Cambodian media, Prime Minister Hun Manet stated that criminals are using the topic of borders to commit fraud, asking people to pay for special land concessions.
He advised that if anyone encounters such situations, they should not believe it and should report it immediately. Local governments must take legal actions to severely punish these criminals.
Hun Manet noted that the Cambodian government's "Social Welfare Land Concession" project is designed to help people who need land to build houses, while also encouraging them to protect state-owned land and natural resources such as forests.
The project is expected to be implemented in 2025, and currently, a working group is researching related issues.
