During Euro 2024 and Copa América, bettors showed increased interest in their eFootball offerings, with an 11.4 percent increase in the number of unique bettors, a 12.8 percent increase in the number of bets, and a 13.4 percent increase in business volume across all platforms of associated operators offering "ESportsBattle" content.
The demand for "eFootball" peaked at the end of Euro 2024 and Copa América, which were held on a "super Sunday" of football on July 14.
In the following days (July 15 and 16), when no matches were played, BETER recorded the highest levels of participation and turnover in "eFootball."
This followed a similar trend throughout Euro 2024, where participation in "eFootball" spiked on days when no matches were played.
On match days, the number of bets and average turnover in "eFootball" increased across all time slots, with the highest growth recorded in the evening, just after the matches concluded.
For example, from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the average business volume increased by 23 percent and remained high for several hours afterward. Regarding the types of bets made, the most popular were totals (55 percent of the betting volume), three-way outcomes (23 percent), and next goal (9 percent), which increased by more than 20 percent.
