The Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group) conducted a raid early this morning (October 30) on a mixed-use building located on Adriatico Street in Manila, accusing the site of involvement in cryptocurrency and romance scams.
Acting on tips from informants, the police raided the floor and arrested 56 suspects on the scene, including 35 Chinese, 11 Indonesians, and 10 Malaysians.
These individuals are suspected of participating in romance and cryptocurrency fraud and are currently detained by the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
