The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) officially welcomes Superbet Group as its newest member.
By becoming a member of EGBA, Superbet will actively contribute to responsible advertising, safer gambling, and compliance with the latest EU Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Directive.
This collaboration comes at a time when the European Commission is expected to introduce new EU legislation affecting the digital industry, including online gambling.
Regarding Superbet becoming a member of EGBA, Superbet Group Chief Operating Officer Albert Simsensohn stated: "This is an important chapter in our development journey. Becoming a member of EGBA signifies our commitment to promoting sustainable corporate growth while adhering to the highest compliance standards across all markets.
"We are ready to work closely with EGBA, exchange industry best practices, and ensure our industry operates in a fair and properly regulated European environment."
EGBA Secretary-General Maarten Haijer added: "We are delighted to welcome Superbet Group to EGBA, which further strengthens our industry representation.
"As EGBA continues to strive for high industry standards and promote a safe and competitive online gambling environment in Europe, Superbet's expertise and market focus will be invaluable. We look forward to collaborating with our new colleagues."
Earlier this year, the European Anti-Money Laundering Alliance welcomed the EU's new anti-money laundering scheme. This scheme includes the establishment of the European Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA), the Sixth Anti-Money Laundering Directive, and the new Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (AMLR).
