Veterans in Gaming (ViG), the non-profit group, open to former military members and their associates, recently announced that it has entered a strategic partnership agreement with CDC Gaming.
“Veterans in Gaming is proud to partner with CDC Gaming,” said ViG Co-Founder and Chalkline CEO Dan Kustelski in a statement. “The CDC team fundamentally understands what our organization will accomplish: connecting former military members who work across our industry. CDC has long been a source of information for the gaming industry, and we’re excited to team up to spread the word about opportunities for veterans in casinos, sports betting, igaming and suppliers.”
CDC Gaming will support Veterans in Gaming with press services, website development, and the creation of documents and other materials.
At the recent Global Gaming Expo, ViG held a fun run on Monday morning that was open to veterans and supporters. Later that day, ViG held a happy hour at Gilley’s Saloon, Dance Hall & Bar-B-Que.
“We are glad Daniel Kustelski has taken the initiative to launch Veterans in Gaming,” said Cory Roberts, Publisher of CDC Gaming. “As evidenced by the successful launch at G2E, it was an underserved segment of the industry, an industry that is increasingly becoming more connected by recognizing its diversity. With two veterans currently working for CDC Gaming, we knew this was an initiative we wanted to support, and we look forward to continuing to help connect former service members across our industry.”
