Argentina.- Within the framework of an investigation into illegal gambling in the town of Federal, a raid was carried out in which an illegal casino was dismantled. The operation was led by the Special Laws Section of the Human Trafficking Division, under the Directorate of Investigations of the Entre Ríos Police.
The raid was conducted in compliance with a mandate from the Court of Guarantees headed by Dr. Susana Griselda Irurzun. The action is part of the case titled "Ministry of Security and Justice s/ its complaint (illegal organization of gambling games)", which is being processed by the Fiscal Unit led by Dr. Tomás Tscherning.
The operation took place in a house located on Aguirre Almada collector road, frequented by a 66-year-old man. During the procedure, personal and vehicle searches were carried out, including a car.

According to information provided by the Institute of Financial Assistance for Social Action (IAFAS), the police team, which included the GIA Division and Chief Officer José Paizal from the Criminalistics Directorate, found a significant amount of items related to illegal gambling activities at the site.
Among the seized objects were: AR$791,600; USD4,091; G. 7,000; gaming chips of various sizes and colors; Spanish and poker cards; two notebooks and two booklets with alphanumeric notes; a cell phone.
In addition, 15 individuals present at the location, all of them adults, were identified. Dr. Eugenia Molina, the on-duty prosecutor, ordered the arrest of the 66-year-old man for the alleged crime of illegal organization of gambling in flagrante delicto.
