Yesterday (November 6th), a joint law enforcement raid by Chinese and Cambodian authorities targeted an online gambling and fraud park in Phnom Penh's Cotton district. According to multiple sources, last night approximately 500 people were taken away by the police from the park, far exceeding the 200 people previously reported by the media.
Photos from the scene show police personnel inspecting the interior of the park's office buildings, after which many individuals were handcuffed with plastic cuffs and controlled within the offices.
It turns out it was an online gambling and "pig butchering" scam that got busted by the joint law enforcement!
