The US state of new York set a new monthly record for mobile sports betting handle in October of US$2.3bn.
The figure rose 12 per cent month-on-month from September’s $2.07bn.
Year-on-year, sports betting handle was up 15.7 per cent from October 2023’s $2bn.
As for the Empire State’s latest revenue from sports wagering, that figure declined month-on-month by 13.9 per cent, from $204.7m to $176.3m.
However, there was a year-on-year jump in revenue, up six per cent from October 2023’s $166.3m.
FanDuel tipped DraftKings to become the top-performing operator in New York in October.
The Flutter Entertainment brand posted handle of $907.6m compared with DraftKings’ $813.7m.
Revenue for FanDuel was $77.3m, higher than DraftKings’ $58.9m.
