ComeOn Group has added sports betting to its services in Ontario, Canada.
In April 2022, the company obtained a gambling license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, allowing it to offer casino games to players in the region and introduce its streaming product WeSpin to the market there.
But now, having obtained the necessary permissions, the company has expanded its service range in the region by launching sports betting.
ComeOn Group hopes to double its sports betting business in the coming years through continuous investment.
ComeOn Group CEO Juergen Reutter said: "This new milestone brings us opportunities, and we are very excited about it. As an operator dominated by casino services, this is an important part of our sports betting strategy, aimed at doubling our business in the coming years.
Good news: ComeOn Group has recently moved its sports betting, technology, and risk management hub to a new central office space
"As in our other markets, we are committed to providing a differentiated sports betting entertainment experience through internal technology. Our goal is to provide top-notch entertainment for players while promoting a safe, innovative gaming experience."
The Ontario market is a focus for many gaming companies this year.
In recent weeks, Relax Gaming has expanded its business in Ontario by partnering with PointsBet and DS Virtual Gaming and has been certified by the Ontario International Gaming Laboratory (GLI).
