In response to recent inaccurate media reports about safety issues in Cambodia, Prime Minister Hun Manet stated that Cambodia is a very safe country and welcomes foreign investors and tourists to invest and travel with peace of mind.
Prime Minister Hun Manet attended the Lin's Entrepreneurs and International Entrepreneurs Unity Banquet.
In his speech, Prime Minister Hun Manet pointed out that Cambodia currently enjoys comprehensive peace and stability, making it an important destination for foreign direct investment.
Since the beginning of this year, the inflow of foreign capital into Cambodia has continued to grow significantly, demonstrating a favorable investment environment.
"You have been in Phnom Penh and Cambodia for a few days now, and should have seen for yourselves the secure environment here. Some media reports about the security situation in Cambodia may cause concern abroad, but the reality is that Cambodia is very safe, and I hope everyone can believe this," he said.
Prime Minister Hun Manet reiterated that the government will continue to provide security guarantees for foreign investors and tourists. He welcomes more foreign investors and tourists to come to Cambodia for investment and tourism.
