The agreement between the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 and the Tax Agency of Murcia will allow access control to gambling for people registered in both records.

Spain.- The Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 and the Tax Agency of the Region of Murcia signed an agreement that establishes a system of mutual recognition of the registrations in the gambling access ban records. The agreement was published in the Official State Gazette (BOE).

The agreement will allow the automated interconnection of both records, facilitating the control and prohibition of access to gambling for people registered, both in the state registry and in the regional registry of Murcia.

The General Directorate for Gambling Regulation (DGOJ) will be responsible for registering in the General Register of Gambling Access Bans (RGIAJ) the entries sent by the Tax Agency of Murcia through the Data Intermediation Platform. In addition, the agreement establishes commitments in the development of technical systems and monitoring of both parties, and creates a Monitoring Commission to resolve incidents and ensure the effectiveness of the agreement.
