During the meeting, the multiple open fronts that occupy the association were reviewed.
Spain.- This week, the Ordinary General Assembly of the Platform for Sustainable Gaming took place in Murcia. There, an assessment of the goals achieved during this year was made, and the program of actions for the next year was discussed. The organizational guardianship this year corresponded to the local groups Marinocio and Matencio, members of the Platform.
The association reported that the assembly complied with the statutory obligations related to the review of the activities of 2023 and 2024, the annual accounts, the budget, and the program of actions for 2024 and 2025. Also, as statutorily corresponding, the positions of the Board of Directors were renewed, a necessary formal point, although the entity proceeds and makes decisions in an assembly manner.
“The review of the multiple open fronts has occupied a large part of the meeting, as the year has enjoyed unusual activity: on one hand, due to the degree of implementation of the Project FES, which continues to grow without pause,” assured the Platform for Sustainable Gaming.
In that sense, they explained that FES is a part of other aspects that have been taking shape throughout 2024, since the well-known campaign for the prevention of behavioral addictions for educators, adolescents, and families now must include its municipal facet, and the campaigns aimed at the group of adults with disabilities (FES DISability), and to promote sports integrity (FES INTegrity).
Similarly, during the meeting, the additional lines of action that have been launched were reviewed, and the very intense agenda deployed since the end of 2023 and in 2024, which corresponds to the need to execute an approach to various regional Administrations that hold competence in gaming matters, and to collaborations with public and private entities that have become key actors for the extension of the Platform's activities.
