The Colombian Federation of Games of Chance and Luck sent a letter to Coljuegos demanding that measures be taken to combat these illegal operations.
Colombia.- The Colombian Federation of Games of Chance and Luck (Fecoljuegos) raised to the Colombian gaming regulator, Coljuegos, their concerns about the activities carried out by the influencer Javier Arias on digital platforms and social networks.
Through a letter, Fecoljuegos states that “it is known to us that this influencer organizes and promotes high-value raffles recurrently, including cars, apartments, appliances, among other prizes, through his social networks. The promotion and execution of draws with monetary or valuable prizes, without proper authorization and regulation, constitute a form of illegal gambling that harms legal operators as well as society in general.”
Therefore, they ask Coljuegos to take the appropriate actions, “in order to combat the irregular operations that so greatly affect the reputation of an industry committed to public finances and to the legal operators who strive to maintain their businesses and comply with their fiscal obligations”.
The Colombian media El Tiempo consulted a spokesperson from Coljuegos who explained the strange actions of the influencer. «He has two administrative sanctioning processes for alleged illegal operation of games of chance and luck in the form of raffles. The first process was opened on June 11 against the company ACJ Revolution and Javier Arias as a natural person», explained the spokesperson.

Both are in preliminary investigation to determine the alleged responsible for the operation of games of chance and luck without authorization», said.
