A homicide occurred on Padre Algue Street in the Tondo district of Manila, where an unidentified man was found dead inside a parked car. The incident took place not far from a local Chinese school, raising concerns in the community.
According to the Manila Police District (MPD), initial reports from traffic enforcement officers indicated that a man inside a car parked by the street appeared to have passed out from a heart attack. The Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) personnel were dispatched to the scene to verify.
However, upon arrival, DRRMO personnel discovered that the situation was far more severe than expected. The victim had multiple stab wounds and was confirmed dead.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the stabbing did not occur on Padre Algue Street, but possibly in another area. Police speculate that the victim attempted to drive away after being injured but could not get far due to the severity of his injuries, eventually stopping the car at this location.
The Manila police are retrieving surveillance footage along the route to trace clues for the case and are calling on anyone with information to come forward to assist in solving the crime. The investigation is still ongoing.
According to netizen reports, both the murderer and the victim in this homicide case are Chinese, suspected to stem from a financial dispute. The Chinese suspect allegedly stabbed the Chinese victim to death in an Avanza car on the street and then fled.
Another netizen reported that the Chinese suspect is a POGO worker, and the police have conducted a search at the suspect's home.
